Korean dramas have been broadcast in more than 80 countries, with more than 50 billion views and downloads of K-pop on YouTube in 2015. (Jang and Lee 6). In this way, the Korean Wave has increased global awareness and acceptance of Korean culture.

Korean drama and K-pop are examples of glocal culture in this sense.
